Alzheimer’s memory walk – become a team captain

Hey everyone! There is a call for team captains for Alzheimer’s memory walks. You have probably all heard of alzheimer’s but may not know that it is specifically a progressive and fatal brain disease. According to their website www.alz.org, as many as 5 million American’s are living with Alzheimer’s disease. It destroys brain cells, causing problems with memory, thinking and behavior. Today it is the sixth leading cause of death in the United States.

The Alzheimer’s memory walks are a way for raising money for research. You an visit a great website at http://www.alz.org/memorywalk/overview.asp and get more information about walks already organized in your area OR…. You can read about how you can organize your own walk!

Right now, there is a call for TEAM CAPTAINS!
